Jason lives in Nazareth, Pennsylvania with his lovely wife Heather and three beautiful kids, Ella, Lyla, and Liam. There is no doubt that Jason loves being a dad and family is the most important thing in his life. Second only to his family Jason loves his job as an educator and truly enjoys teaching high school history, his passion for the subject stemming from his two lifelong heroes: his father and grandfather.
After graduating high school Jason enrolled at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and graduated Cum Laude in 2000 with a degree in history. While at Lycoming Jason was a student-athlete who competed on the schools record breaking football team. The high-light of Jason’s athletic career was playing in the 1997 National Championship game on ESPN 2. After college Jason transferred his passion for history to the classroom environment by teaching social studies since 2001. His first teaching position was in Maryland but wanting to be closer to his family he relocated back to Pennsylvania and found a job at a nearby high school in northern New Jersey.
In his spare time Jason enjoys hunting fishing, golf, cooking, the outdoors, sports, strumming his guitar, and weight training. A fan of most musical genres Jason enjoys discovering new bands and musicians as some of his top artists include the Dave Matthews Band and Mumford and Sons. When he’s not spending time with his family Jason also enjoys watching television shows like Ghost Hunters, The X-Files, NCIS, the History Channel, and the National Geographic Channel.
Since an early age Jason has been fascinated with anything paranormal and at the age of 10, he swore he would find Bigfoot. Although the eight foot creature has eluded him, Jason finally entered the paranormal world when he became co-founder of The Searchers. Jason hopes that by bringing together an intelligent and diverse group of individuals that collaboratively they can uncover evidence that will be accepted by the scientific and academic communities. Jason is an admitted adrenaline junkie and often says that while some jump out of planes he would rather be confronted by the unknown creatures of the paranormal world. Simply put, Jason wants to be scared and relive a few of the paranormal events he experienced as a child. He is now searching for the proof that he knows “is out there.”
