Chris has been a resident of New Jersey for his entire life. As a young adult Chris – like most of The Searchers team – became intimately familiar with the folklore and legends surrounding the Tri-State area.
After receiving his Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Warren County Community College, he attended Montclair State University. There Chris concluded his undergraduate studies as a Justice Studies major, and graduated with honors. After his time at Montclair had ended Chris began working as a certified Security Officer in New Jersey. Soon thereafter, in February of 2013, Chris started working as a Private Investigator for a company specializing in corporate investigations. In this position Chris performs covert surveillance and loss prevention audits in New York City and the surrounding area.
When Chris is not busy working he enjoys spending time hanging out with friends, watching movies and television, reading comic books (especially anything involving Batman!), and playing video games. Chris admits he is a huge baseball fanatic (and a die-hard Yankees fan) but says he can watch any type of sport. Chris also enjoys going bowling, and relaxing while fishing and golfing. While he will listen to any type of music, Chris prefers the rock and the acoustic genres. Some of his favorite bands include O.A.R., Dave Matthews, Gaslight Anthem, Mumford and Sons, and Avett Brothers, to name only a few.
Chris’s sole motivation for becoming a member of The Searchers is his desire to delve deeper into the stories told by people who are convincing and sensible, but speak of experiences that are often fantastical and impractical. While he subscribes to a more sceptical and materialistic view on matters such as these, the lure and intriguing nature of a classic ghost story is enough to have his interest for paranormal investigations sustained. In the end, Chris hopes to one day have a firsthand personal experience that can redefine his position on this controversial subject.
